Abstract
The complexity of addressing the phenomenon of gender-based digital violence and its influence in the
educational environment forces us to think of ways to account for it and respond to the particularities of
the context of research and intervention. Therefore, the objective of this article is to encourage reflection
on the possibilities of action that educational institutions have for the prevention of digital violence
through educational interventions based on digital pedagogical mediation processes. Thus, this paper
articulates a series of theoretical proposals that think about the pedagogical effects of violence, the
influence of socio-digital networks in educational and socialization processes, as well as how
contextualized educational interventions can give us clues to prevent them.
