This paper is based on the effort to study the current state of the teaching of Criminology, therefore, the objective is to review a flexible and efficient educational model that contributes to strengthening the teaching-learning process of Criminology from the modality hybrid and dual. To do this, a reflection is made on the importance of discipline in our society and particularly in the academy. A review is also made, on the one hand, of the existing literature on the topic, and on the other hand, the pedagogical models that could be applied in said process are mentioned. From this derives the weighting of constructivism that lays the foundations for giving way to hybridity as viable, feasible and useful pedagogical proposals. To this extent, the methodology consisted of documentary analysis, of an explanatory nature based on the comparative exercise of traditional schools and new trends, from a deductive perspective. Thus, it is concluded that the teaching of Criminology can be given from hybridity, modes of application are suggested as well as lines of research are established that include surveys and field work such as interviews to make sufficient adjustments to refine their use.
