The research aimed to identify a relationship between social well-being, academic engagement with academic welfare with a population of under graduate students from the metropolitan area of México. The predictive variables of social well-being and academic engagement have been studied in its relationship with other factors in the educational field but not with academic welfare. With a non-experimental design. The sample consisted of 230 participants (32.6% men and 67.1% women) from the metropolitan area of México. Correlation and multiple linear regression analysis were performed with the input method to explore the predictive variables. Social well-being (β=.332, p.<0.01) and academic engagement (β=.226, p.<0.01) predict 20.7% academic welfare. The results also allow to continue consolidating the association between the variables.
