Estimated time of the editorial process in RETEE
The Revista Electrónica Tecnologías Emergentes en la Educación (RETEE) establishes an estimated time of 1 to 4 months for the entire process from receipt of the manuscript to its publication. This period may vary depending on the initial quality of the submission, the timeliness of the authors' responses and the complexity of the opinion.
The editorial procedure takes place in several stages:
- Initial review by the Editor-in-Chief, who assesses the relevance of the manuscript with respect to the journal's thematic guidelines and editorial standards.
- Review by academic peers under the double-blind system, where specialists in the field analyse the methodological rigour, originality and scientific relevance of the contribution.
- Final review and adjustments, in which the authors address the comments received to improve the final version of the article.
- Third review, applied only in cases where the previous reviews show significant discrepancies or additional verifications of the adjustments made are required.
This workflow ensures that articles published in RETEE meet the highest standards of scientific quality, editorial ethics and academic rigour.
