Review elements according to the type of manuscript or contribution

Research Articles

Evaluates original manuscripts that present empirical or theoretical results, strictly following RETEE editorial standards.

Elements evaluated and criteria:

Title: Must be clear, specific, bilingual (Spanish and English), less than 15 words and comply with the requested format.
Abstract and Keywords: Must contain between 150 and 250 words in both languages, synthesising objectives, scope, findings and conclusions; keywords aligned with the UNESCO thesaurus.
Introduction: It presents context, justification, thematic delimitation and objective of the contribution, with recent references (at least 50%).
Development of the content (according to the type of contribution): For articles: materials, methods and clear results. For interventions: context, design and evaluation methodology. For reviews: selection criteria, thematic analysis and critical review.
Discussion: Interpret findings critically, compare with relevant literature, point out limitations and theoretical and practical implications.
Conclusions: Synthesises the findings without repeating them verbatim, highlighting contributions and suggestions for future research.
References: Minimum 30 updated references, preferably from the last 5 years, correctly applied in APA 7 format.
Style, writing and editorial standards: Use of clear academic writing, without spelling mistakes, strictly complying with RETEE format.
General comments: Space for the reviewer to note additional comments on relevant aspects not included in the previous criteria.
Overall evaluation of the manuscript (Accept / Revise / Reject): The reviewer selects the final recommendation: accept without changes, accept with minor changes, require major revision or reject.

Intervention Projects

Assesses applied studies that describe, implement and evaluate interventions in educational and social settings.
