The cathedral stands as a testament to the fusion of history, art, and spirituality that defined New Spain. It contributes to the preservation of the viceregal cultural heritage of evangelization in the Gran Chichimeca. Introduction: This study presents a visual analysis of the sculptors' efforts. Methodology: Bibliographic and newspaper review, along with other published sources. Through this unprecedented study, we have discovered new findings in Art History. General Objective: The main interest is to make these sacred art sculptures known. Specific Objective: Complementing the previous one, to understand and appreciate both mestizo and European art. Results and Discussion: After reflecting on this religious ornamentation as praise to Jesus Christ and the Virgin Mary through biblical passages. Conclusion: Whose veneration transcended borders thanks to evangelization, through the analysis of sculptures, paintings, and architectural ornaments.
