Philosophy, violence and redemption

Abstract

This article addresses the problem of violence from an anthropological and philosophical point of view, starting from a polemic thesis that distinguishes between the Sacred, the Divine and the Holy. It focuses first on Marcel Mauss, then on Theodor W. Adorno and finally on Georges Bataille, the three authors who illustrate the three positions presented and valued here.
