The research that supports this exhibition was carried out in the political context of Mexico during 2023, in view of the 2024 electoral process, particularly following political actions of Zacatecans, with the purpose of analyzing the nature of the violence of the images in the political communication they develop, with a view to the phenomena of iconoclash and other concomitant expressions, such as iconoduly and iconoclasm, to understand how these practices of visual propaganda affect the construction of political meanings and discourses. From the support of the Master's Degree in Humanistic and Educational Research, Orientation in Communication and Praxis of the Autonomous University of Zacatecas, the authors of such research and this installment adopted a non-experimental design and a qualitative approach, analyzing these phenomena in their natural context, using an applied research method and a grounded theory orientation to generate knowledge from the data collected.
