Abstract

In this article I will present an argument that shows why “believe in” statements depend on “believe that” statements. I will discuss this considering the idea that “believe in” statements might depend on any form of trascendental framework. I will do it by tracing this distinction and arguing that we can associate faith judgments with “believe in” statements and “believe that” statements with judgments that more explicitly can be justifiable and evaluated as either true or false, respectively.
