Economic justice and the consequences of Arrow's theorem

Abstract

In this article I will discuss an interpretation from Arrow’s theorem and the liberal paradox. I will argue that the Pareto Principle could be reframed, and interpreted in a form that aims to solve some philosophical problems about social justice.

Javier Acevedo es mexicano, es licenciado en filosofía por la Universidad Autónoma de Zacatecas y maestro en filosofía por la misma universidad. Actualmente imparte clases de filosofía en el Aurora Community College, Aurora, Colorado, Estados Unidos y es estudiante del doctorado en filosofía en la Universidad de Colorado en Boulder.
