This essay explains how the image has been trivialized and how much can be gained from this trivial image if viewed closely. It explains the path the image travels from the appearance to the simulation. In particular, it seeks to find the origin of violence in Mexico through images of drug trafficking. It sensitizes about the almost natural self-absorption of the old, modern and postmodern man. To do this, it explains the idea of simulation. This essay makes a strong criticism of the simulation produced by the Mexican elite society and the effects of poverty and misery that leads to the construction of a selfish imaginary. "The only and ever-present offer of these power groups is their iconic representation, their image. A ubiquitous image that protrudes through all the media hiding all its substrates and, therefore, hiding all its intentions."
