The purpose of the present investigation was to know the relevance of the instructional design model ASSURE in the Autonomous University of Zacatecas, in the design and development of teaching units in some faculties of the institution. A preliminary exploratory research was developed to identify the existing conditions of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) for the development of online education, and we identified teachers interested in participating.
