Abstract

Objective:To understand the meaning of virtual classes during the Covid -19 pandemic by nursing undergraduate students. MeMethod:A qualitative study was carried out with a phenomenological method, based on the interpretive paradigm, through the interpretation of living codes and distribution of categories, expressing how the phenomenon of the meaning of virtual classes emerges in times of pandemic by third -semester nursing students. , 5 third -semester students were selected at convenience and a structured interview with 3 open questions was applied to obtain data. Results: 4 categories were identified: 1.meaning of disadvantages of virtual classes,2. Meaning of new teaching -learning opportunities, 3. meaning of virtual classes from the social and individual aspects of students and 4. perception of virtual classes taught by teachers. Conclusion: it is essential to continue conducting qualitative studies that address the psychological and emotional spheres of students in relation to the effects of the pandemic
