Abstract

Objective: To determine the quality of life of university students, both teachers and students, during the Covid 19 pandemic in Zacatecas. Method: A descriptive, cross-sectional cohort study was conducted. The sample consisted of 185 participants, teachers, and students from a University
of Zacatecas.
Results: The best evaluated dimensions and those that were above the average of 50 were: physical function, physical role (only in the case of students), mental health, vitality and bodily pain. In contrast, there was the emotional role that is 26.2 in teachers and 34.2 in students and in the case of social function for students it was an average of 40.0. Conclusion: The quality of life in 4 of the 8 dimensions is evaluated above the average, according to these results it is important to indicate that there was coherence or correspondence between the dimensions physical function and physical role since the degree of limitation to do activities physical did not interfere with work and other daily activities. Meanwhile, in the emotional role, the result showed that they presented emotional problems such as nervousness, sadness or it has interfered with their daily activities.
