Before the commemoration of the 500th anniversary of the meeting between Hispanics and indigenous people, a series of events and publications were held that seek to promote knowledge about what this event meant for both cultures, based on what is currently known from archaeological research. and historical.
The perspective that Christian Duverger proposes to build a vision of this meeting is to recognize the particularities of the characters who participated: their formation, their interests, their trajectory, and in this way reconstruct a more human and possible history.
