Abstract
The following article shows how the architectural design of circle 2 of the archaeological site of Los Guachimontones, based on the shaft of a pole for the flyer dance found in the center of the altar, has alignments that suggest a symbolic-calendrical structure for a functional system of computation of the Mesoamerican time. This article also indicates how there is an alignment that corresponds to that of a horizon calendar, which divides the year into two periods, 105 and 260 days, and it is proposed how using the pyramid with its alignments, time can be counted in a similar way to exposed for the operation of the calculation of the Aztec Calendar, Rivas (2003).
