This paper seeks to build a general overview of archaeological works in Mexico, as well as how knowledge of results and national history has been promoted.
In Mexico there are few means that promote archaeological research and its dissemination, the magazine Arqueología Mexicana has been a forum in which you can learn about the different archaeological findings, in turn topics of popular interest such as rituality, commerce, nahualism, among others. Thanks to the Revista Arqueología Mexicana, the Mexican population knows a lot about the nation's heritage as well as the cultural dynamics that give meaning to the nationalist spirit, however, its focus is more of dissemination, making its language and content something that does not go deep in methodologies and objectives, for which it is necessary to promote spaces so that the links and dialogues between researchers are strengthened. In relation to the above, it is based on the idea that from the universities and vocational training institutions can be achieved with this objective, seeking to promote the development of archaeological science.
