About the Journal

 

The Chicomoztoc Magazine seeks to contribute from the educational dissemination to that in the field of archeology the applications and scope of different theoretical-analytical perspectives are known, and in this way the professional practice is promoted.

 

To publish in the magazine:

 

• The reception of articles will be permanent, that is, contributions are received throughout the year.
• Chicomoztoc Magazine will publish only original and unpublished proposals that, at the time they are submitted for consideration, are not being submitted, reviewed or approved by other publications.
• If the author has previously published in the Chicomoztoc Magazine, he must wait one year to submit another contribution again.
• Proposals will be received in two main languages ​​(Spanish and English). In the initial part, a summary section must be provided, which must be in English and Spanish, as well as the keywords. However, the opinions will be delivered in Spanish.
• To submit a proposal, the author must register on the journal page to submit their proposal [http://revistas.uaz.edu.mx/index.php/chicomoztoc]
• The texts that are presented must comply with the established guidelines. In case of not meeting the specifications, the author will be notified by means of an Evaluation Form.
• For the opinions of the journal, the texts will be submitted to "peer review", which consists of two or more anonymous, external experts on a subject and/or from the editorial board of the journal, will assess the proposal, and if necessary make observations. for the improvement of the text and to promote the publication.
•  The reviewers will have 20 business days to send their resolution, after receiving the original.·        
• Chicomoztoc Magazine guarantees the confidentiality of the authors and referees or reviewers who participate in the editorial review process.
• Once the review is done, the author will be notified of the verdict of the evaluation by means of a Results Form. In the event that the opinions favor publication, Chicomoztoc Magazine will include the article in the list of material to be published.·  
• In the event that the reviewers make observations or suggestions for the text, the author must send a modified version, which must be registered on the page, for his new application, for which he will have a maximum period of 20 days. If you do not agree with any of the requested modifications, you must justify your position by means of a letter addressed to the editorial committee of the journal, who will consider the case and issue the final ruling through the editor-in-chief.·   
• The author must provide authorization for the use of images, a document that will be delivered in writing to the journal.
•  It should be noted that the modified version will be checked to verify that the author has made the changes indicated by the referees and complies with everything established in the regulations and to start the editing process of the journal (style correction, translation, training). . Prior to publication, the consent of the author will be requested.· 
•  The number will be published on the page of the magazine, and promoted in different forums of diffusion and archaeological dissemination such as colloquiums and congresses.
