Abstract

Language, as organized thought, is more than a set of signs, whereby, the correspondence, a link between speakers, is established. In his case, the Spanish language, besides being a meeting of ideas and characters, is a powerful communication tool that refers to the construction of a common heritage for all Latin America. In these pages is appealed to the importance of a language, which is evidence as a transatlantic bridge of words, symbol of unity in the cultural diversity of peoples who today more than ever should stay together for the defense of their culture and their interests.
