El uso de la tecnología Web 2.0 en el Tecnológico Nacional de México Caso: Instituto Tecnológico de Zacatecas

The research carried out investigates the use of Web 2.0 technology, and its relation with the students of Engineering in Business Management Degree and Administration Degree of the Technological Institute of Zacatecas (ITZ), the purpose of the study is Highlight the importance of computer culture in teaching, and the positive influence on the benefits of using Web 2.0 technology in engineering-oriented careers; A quasi-experimental design was used with students from the sixth semester of the two bachelor degrees, both using web 2.0 for their different courses. The statistical analysis used consisted of a multivariate factorial of principal components, resulting in students of the Bachelor Degree in Business Management Engineering obtain more benefits than students of the Bachelor Degree in Administration with the use of Web 2.0 technology, in the programs used, highlighting the use of Facebook, in terms of the skills to be developed with self-learning and the strategies to be implemented with connectivity. We also find that the importance of the variables in study with the main components related to aspects of age and sex, allow us to conclude that the age of students in general who benefit from the use of Web 2.0 technology is in the range of 21 to 23 years and that, in the matter of gender, we can only appreciate more use of Facebook by the female gender.
