Abstract
This research evaluated the impact of a Blended Learning (B-Learning) approach on performance in solving mathematical problems in Physics I, specifically those related to Newton's Second Law, among students of Program XII at the Academic Preparatory Unit of the Autonomous University of Zacatecas. Implementing the Moodle platform for didactic activities and learning management, a sample was randomly selected and divided into intervention and control groups. The methodology involved comparing assessments conducted before and after the intervention. The B-Learning group demonstrated significant improvement in performance and greater efficiency in problem-solving time compared to the control group, which received only traditional instruction. This study provides evidence on the effectiveness of the conceptual understanding and B-Learning approach in the teaching of Physics, particularly in the performance in mathematical exercises, also highlighting the relevance of the use of educational technology to strengthen academic performance and autonomous learning.
