Abstract
The democratic management of the Colegio de Bachilleres del Estado de San Luis Potosí (CBSLP) is on the educational policy agenda of the Mexican government, notably since the last decades of the 20th century, and it expands in the first decades of the 21st century. This same conception has been presented as a demand from the organized sectors of teachers who, historically, pressured the public power to create mechanisms of democratic management and high management of the educational establishments. This article aims to highlight school management, considering the functioning of collegiate groups. It is concluded that the CBSLP has taken important steps to provide the institutional bases, with a view to building a democratic management process.
