Moodle in the teaching process in the agronomy area in higher level

The disruptive trend framed by accelerated change in aspects such as the economy, technology, politics and the environment cannot ignore the effect on the current education sector. Students with innovative attitudes, management needs of their own time and with adaptive capacities that often exceed the teaching sector, is a condition that is becoming increasingly present in our institutions; in this sense, it is necessary to implement processes that promote knowledge, skills and attitudes that contribute to the updating and continuous training of our teachers. This paper, the process of implementation of the Moodle platform as a teaching strategy for teachers in the Academic Unit of Agronomy (UAA, for its acronym in Spanish) of the Universidad Autónoma de Zacatecas (UAZ) is described. Emphasizing the results of training and performance within the learning manager of academics and their incidence on the design of courses that promote meaningful learning in students. Using a quantitative approach based on the statistics provided by the platform during the 2018-2019 school year, time intensive training period actions in the teaching sector.
