Javier Acosta, in this book, tries to propose something similar: through the explanation of the animal -in this case the dog-, man discovers himself in a process of identification. It is necessary to remember that for Lacan identification is initially related to madness: madness is the full realization of identification, that is, when the subject believes he is what he identifies with. This process of identification is progressively presented by Javier: in the poetic voice there is a feeling of remoteness from the world that is only comforted by being close to the dog.
