Education reform of 2013, through the Law on Professional Teaching Service, created a new regulation at the system to enter the teaching service at the basic level, this article, which is shown through a case study, aims to show the political implications that have been generated starting from the new process in the allocation of teaching posts, which not only have to do with democratization in the recruitment of teachers and the political instrumentalization of quality in education; but also, with restructuring of the corporate relationship that exist between SNTE and State, reorienting the teaching profession and the performance appraisal of teachers.
