Resumen
Mujer de 62 años, acude a la Especialidad en Endodoncia, de la Facultad de Odontología-Universidad Juárez del Estado de Durango, para su atención. Tras la exploración clínica se determinó diagnóstico pulpar y periapical en diente 1.1, siendo necrosis pulpar y periodontitis apical asintomática, respectivamente. Se establece plan de tratamiento con necropulpectomia, técnica de instrumentación manual, e irrigación con hipoclorito de sodio al 5.25%, a la irrigación este se extruye, la paciente exclama queja de dolor y malestar, con sangrado intraconducto, se aplicó lavado con solución fisiológica, sellado de conducto y cese de tratamiento inmediato. Se indican antibiótico, antiinflamatorios esteroideos, y antiinflamatorios no esteroideos por 7 días. La paciente manifestó dolor, equimosis y edema, desapareciendo por completo al día 21. Se termino el tratamiento endodóntico en segunda cita sin mayores incidentes. Lo anterior documentado de manera adecuada y actual.
