Conjunto solución de sistemas de ecuaciones. Un estudio en estudiantes de la licenciatura en matemáticas

Resumen

El objetivo de la investigación es identificar las dificultades y observar las construcciones mentales que presentan
alumnos de licenciatura en matemáticas sobre el concepto de conjunto solución de un sistema de ecuaciones lineales. Se
observó un curso de Algebra Lineal, se aplicaron ocho actividades y se realizó una entrevista semiestructurada. Los resultados
muestran que los estudiantes tienen dificultades para visualizar geométricamente el conjunto solución del sistema de
ecuaciones, no coordina la representación algebraica con la representación gráfica. Se concluye que los estudiantes no logran
coordinar el objeto sistema de ecuaciones con el objeto geométrico, además no han interiorizado sus acciones para encontrar
el proceso de solución de un sistema de ecuaciones.

The objective of the research is to identify the difficulties and observe the mental constructions presented by
undergraduate mathematics students on the concept of the solution set of a system of linear equations. A Linear Algebra
course was observed, eight activities were applied and a semi-structured interview was conducted. The results show that the
students have difficulties to geometrically visualize the solution set of the system of equations, it does not coordinate the
algebraic representation with the graphical representation. It is concluded that the students cannot coordinate the system of
equations object with the geometric object, and they have not internalized their actions to find the solution process of a system
of equations.
