Seguimiento farmacoterapéutico en odontopediatría
Resumen
La causa más común de ingreso en el servicio de Odontopediatría es el dolor dental, sensación activa, sorda y
opresiva que en ocasiones, es pulsátil, ardorosa o quemante. La farmacoterapia en odontopediatría debe ser efectiva, segura
y racional en neonatos, infantes y niños. Se realizó el seguimiento farmacoterapéutico de pacientes pediátricos de la CLIO y
CLIJANI/UAO/UAZ. A través del estudio observacional, exploratorio, de tipo transversal, 23 pacientes de la clínica integral
de la especialidad de Odontopediatría (CLIO/UAO/UAZ) y 35 expedientes clínicos de pacientes de CLIJANI de Agosto del
2019-2020, fueron analizados, previa autorización del paciente. Se les realizó una entrevista y el seguimiento
farmacoterapéutico registrando los datos del fármaco indicado, la dosis y el tiempo de uso.

The most common cause of admission to the Pediatric Dentistry service is dental pain, an active, deaf and
oppressive sensation that is sometimes throbbing, burning. Pharmacotherapy in pediatric dentistry must be effective, safe
and rational in neonates, infants and children. Pharmacotherapeutic follow-up of pediatric patients from CLIO and CLIJANI
/ UAO / UAZ was carried out. Through an observational, exploratory, cross-sectional study, 23 patients from the clinic of
the specialty of Pediatric Dentistry (CLIO / UAO / UAZ) and 35 clinical records of patients from CLIJANI, from August
2019-2020, were analyzed, prior authorization for patient, an interview and pharmacotherapy follow-up were carried out,
recording the data on the indicated drug, the dose and the time of use.
